Two weeks ago I was called by a lady who wanted a graffiti painting done in her sports training center for highschoolers and she needed it done in two weeks. I am more of a person who is good at drawing more than painting so I was a little nervous, it'd been a while sense I had painted last, but I needed the money and I knew it was a great opportunity. I had two days to get some sketches, which I found to be alot harder to come up with under this much pressure but one was finally created. I met with the ladies, Angi and Jen, and showed them a sketch, I told them the story behind the lion I had drawn and how it stood for a skier who was a huge inspiration and had passed a while ago, his name was CR Johnson and he was very close with Tanner Hall. CR was said to have the heart of a lion, he had had a major head injury and had 10% chance of walking. Not only did he walk, but he regained his place as a professional skier. Angi and Jen loved it and I was set to start painting the next day. I was nervous because I wouldnt be able to trace the sketch onto the wall I just had to go at it. When I have people with high expectations in my work there was going to be no way I could let them down. I started with the lion and worked my way across the wall ending with writing like a lion next to the painting and signing my name of corse. I finished today in two hours after finishing up the last graffiti word and signing my name. This was a big accomplishment for me and I am proud of my work. These photos were taken by my good friend Kristen.

Its crazy how fast time flys by as you get older. I am only 16 and yet it seems like as soon as I blink my eyes its three weeks later and I'm making new memories and even father through the school year.
I went to  Colorado for USASA nationals with some friends in April, we were there for a week and it went by way to fast. I had always wanted to go to CO and now all I can think about is going back. I took alot of photos in CO it was crazy how many people were there. They all killed it. It was awesome to see all these kids with so much talent from all over bringing their style and skill to one mountain to compete in nationals.
The competitors were packed in for practice all day.

This is my friend troy, he and his family were the ones who took me, his sister Hailey got 8th in the nation at the comp. Troy couldnt compete because of a broken shoulder.

I wore my new jiberish flannel the whole time, it is one of my favorite things I got on the trip along with some things I got on our stop in Breckenridge.

This is me in the lodge at copper, the comp was there but we were staying in keystone. My friend Grafton from Spokane was at the comp competing it was fun skiing with him there. My friend from Candada, Jessy was there along with a few more kids I knew from spokane.

This is grafton

We skied with a couple of kids from Vermont, Jack and Declan they were amazing skiers.

We stayed in Denver our first day there. I was so stoked to get to go to the Jiberish store I never thought I would actually get to go to their store. We were there for about three hours and ended up talking with one of the owners and creators of the brand.
