Well I spent this weekend in Spokane at the Kan Jam with my friends that live down there. Unfortunatly the weather was terrible so I didn't get to take any photos, but I still haven't uploaded the rest of the photos from last weekend so this post is for them ( I still have yet to go through them all so more will be coming).
While I was in Spo I got a little home mountain sick sense my sister was home from college and texting me how it wasn't the least bit foggy there.
As I rode up freezing on the chair lift I reminisced a little on how I have noticed how much my of my life has been spent on Schweitzer skiing. From the days my dad was teaching me to ski with my harness that we called the "Racer Chaser" sense I spent alot of time refusing to turn because "I just wanna go fast dad!" to now, skiing the entire mountain with my amazing close friends and sister with such ease. Last weekend I took my T minus 1 run by my self to finish the day and sum up my weekend, I had my headphones in both ears and took a lap on one of my favorite runs. I thought of how many times I've ridden these chair lifts and how many times i'd skied these runs and how much i've grown. Its absolutely nuts.
I love my mountain so I would like to post these photos of my friends skiing Schweitzer in tribute, I guess you could say, to my home mountain in which I have grown so much on and love so dearly.
Heres to you Swizzle
